Floristry from the Beginning 2026

This three-evening floristry beginners course focuses on basic techniques, care guidelines, and the elements of design principles. You will gain experience and knowledge on how to create three different floral designs.

These classes are suitable for beginners and for those with a little previous experience.

Flowers & Materials

3 Week Course - Materials £45 for first weeks flowers and various sundries throughout the course (you will be invoiced separately).

In weeks two and three, you will source your own flowers. We will discuss what you need to bring during the week before. If you would like your flowers to be ordered for you, this will cost £30 per week. You can decide to do this as late as the Sunday evening before the Monday class.

  • Handtied gift bouquet - a spiral hand-tied gift bouquet wrapped in professional packaging.

  • Vase Arrangement - build a balanced, airy vase arrangement, using seasonal blooms and foliage.

  • Centrepiece - construct a low centrepiece that is perfect for a dinner table.
